Operational principle

The working principle of a multi effect evaporator is to heat the solution to its boiling point and introduce it into the first effector (also known as a one effect) in the evaporator. In this effector, a portion of the water in the solution evaporates, forming steam, while the unexpired concentrate flows to the next effector. This steam will enter the next effector (second effect) and continue to evaporate more water. The same process will continue in subsequent effectors until the water in the solution is basically evaporated. The key to a multi effect evaporator is to utilize the steam energy generated during the evaporation process, and achieve energy recycling by transferring steam from one effector to the next. In this way, the energy consumption of the multi effect evaporator is relatively low and the efficiency is high.
